Vision Engineering is pleased to announce the appointment of Amin Canaan as District Manager for the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
In this role, Canaan will be responsible for supporting customers and distribution partners throughout the region, helping manufacturers improve quality, productivity, and process control through Vision Engineering’s range of inspection and metrology solutions.
A native of the Dominican Republic, Canaan brings more than 30 years of sales and business development experience. Throughout his career, he has held both sales executive and sales management positions, developing long-term customer relationships, leading high-performing teams, and driving business growth across industrial and technology-focused markets.
Prior to joining Vision Engineering, Canaan served as Sales Manager at Solinden, where he led sales strategy, market development, customer relationship management, and team leadership initiatives. His extensive experience in identifying customer needs and delivering value-driven solutions has earned him a reputation for exceptional customer service and business development success.

Outside of work, Canaan enjoys golf and tennis, has a keen interest in history, and enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures. He is also an enthusiastic cook who enjoys sharing meals with family and friends.
