Vision Engineering Celebrates Jen Ginolifi’s 30 Years of Service
Vision Engineering proudly honors Jen Ginolifi for her remarkable 30 years of dedicated service. As a cornerstone of our team, Jen has played an integral role in Vision Engineering’s evolution and success.
“The best part about my job is working for a company with one-of-a-kind products,” says Jen, whose journey with Vision Engineering began when manufacturing of the original Mantis was moved from the United Kingdom to Connecticut, USA. Joining as one of the first employees on the production team, Jen has had a front-row seat to the innovation and transformation of our product line.
Over the years, Jen has witnessed the launch of groundbreaking products, including the original Mantis, Mantis Classic and Mantis 3rd Gen, Lynx, Lynx EVO, and the SX Series microscopes. As a Technical Operations Lead- Stereo she collaborated with customers to diagnose issues, answer technical questions, perform repairs, and inspect systems before they were shipped.
Currently, Jen is undergoing training to take over all responsibilities for systems assembled at Vision Engineering’s North American headquarters. This includes Mantis and any future products.
Within the company, Jen’s deep product knowledge makes her a go-to resource for colleagues.
Before joining Vision Engineering, Jen worked in a surgical equipment manufacturer’s manufacturing and inspection department. Her extensive experience behind conventional eyepiece microscopes gave her a unique appreciation for the ergonomic and operational benefits of Vision Engineering’s eyepiece-less systems.
Reflecting on her 30-year career, Jen shares, “During my time with Vision Engineering, our building and staff have quadrupled in number.” She has seen firsthand the growth of both our product range and our U.S. headquarters, contributing significantly to the company’s expansion and success.
Jen’s dedication extends beyond her technical expertise. Last year, she earned the nickname “bird whisperer” after rescuing two domestic parakeets within a single week. A little bird told us that Aqua and Turquoise, as they are now affectionately named, are thriving under Jen’s care.
As we celebrate Jen’s 30 years with Vision Engineering, we express our deepest gratitude for her unwavering commitment, unparalleled expertise, and passion for excellence. Here’s to Jen and the extraordinary contributions she continues to make to our team.
