Take a look at the Lynx EVO eyepiece-less stereo zoom microscope in action with the 360° degree oblique viewer. For inspection tasks you have a direct view (90° to the surface) and the ability to switch to a 34° angled view.
This is particularly useful for inspection of PCBs to look under and between leads on a component, to find solder bridging and bad joints, and speeds up inspection of surface mount devices.
