Alajuela, Costa Rica – May 28 – As part of the Quality Manufacturing Forum and Expo, Vision Engineering successfully concluded its two-day event, “Driving Quality: Achieving Consistent Excellence in Manufacturing,” held on May 14th and 15th in the Coyol province of Costa Rica. This event brought together leading minds from the manufacturing sector to share insights, strategies, and innovations aimed at enhancing quality and achieving consistent excellence in manufacturing processes.

The event featured an impressive lineup of keynote speakers from some of the industry’s most influential vendors, offering attendees a unique opportunity to gain valuable perspectives from top-tier experts. The presentations covered a wide range of topics critical to the manufacturing industry, including how to understand metrology plans, issues faced during decontamination and cleaning, and ways to improve welding.

Keynote speakers included representatives from major manufacturing vendors such as:

  • Alejandro Soto, Service Engineer at Vision Engineering, who discussed plan interpretations as related to metrology.
  • José Luis Miranda, Regional Sales Manager at SIMCO-ION, who provided insights into particle contamination in the manufacturing of medical devices.
  • Ernesto Sanchez, Regional Manager at Tehcon, who presented on the ABCs of quality fluid dispensing.
  • Raul Martinez, Regional Sales Manager at Excelta, who shared information on various wire cutters.
  • Daniel Montes, Area Sales Manager at JBC, who gave an overview of welding technology and the various tools available.
  • Humberto Castrejon, Regional Sales Manager at ITW, who discussed electronic cleaning and decontamination.

The event was designed to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among industry leaders, with interactive sessions that allowed participants to engage directly with the speakers and each other. Attendees included assembly supervisors, quality assurance managers, fault detection and failure analysis professionals, and other stakeholders dedicated to achieving excellence in their respective fields.
